We make sure your team is ready for the day everyone hopes never comes.
D2EMC helps hospitals, fire/EMS agencies, and emergency planners build real CBRN, hazmat, and disaster readiness assessed, trained, and stress-tested by people who've actually done the job in uniform, in the ED, and at the state level.
Most hospital emergency plans pass accreditation and fail reality. The binder gets approved. The drill gets scheduled. Then a real call comes in a contaminated patient at the ED door, an active threat in the lobby, a mass casualty event that overwhelms triage — and the gaps show up under pressure.
We exist to find those gaps first. Before The Joint Commission finds them. Before CMS finds them. Before the patient at the door finds them.
WHY WE EXIST
WHO WE WORK WITH
We work with hospitals and health systems academic medical centers, community hospitals, and multi-site networks — that take emergency preparedness seriously and want a partner who'll tell them the truth about what's working and what isn't.
If you're a hospital emergency manager, safety officer, CMO, CNO, or director of nursing dealing with a TJC survey on the horizon, a CMS emergency preparedness audit, a recent near-miss, or the uncomfortable knowledge that your last full-scale exercise was years ago that's where we come in.

THE FOUNDER
I'm David DiGregorio. I spent 32 years in the Army as a medic, nurse, and physician assistant. After retiring from the military, I served nine years as Deputy and then Director of Hazardous Materials Emergency Response for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Today I'm core faculty for the BIDMC/Harvard Medical School Disaster Medicine Fellowship, and I hold Master of Science degrees in Physician Assistant Studies and Emergency Management.
What that means for your hospital: when D2EMC assesses your CBRN posture or evaluates your decon capability, you're not getting a consultant reading from a checklist. You're getting someone who's worn the suit, run the patient, and built the state-level response program.
D2EMC is veteran-owned. We bring the same standards we held in uniform honest assessment, real accountability, no fluff to every engagement.
We don't do this alone. D2EMC works alongside a vetted network of contributors and partners specialists in EMS, public health, hospital operations, and CBRN response assembled to fit the engagement.
The career behind the consultancy.
Plus Master of Science degrees in Physician Assistant Studies and Emergency Management.
Our work with hospitals includes CBRN and hazmat readiness assessments, emergency preparedness program review, tabletop and full-scale exercise design and evaluation, policy and procedure review against current TJC and CMS standards, and training built for clinical staff who don't live in PPE.
