Our PARTNERS
D2EMC's work isn't done alone. We partner with a small, intentional group of organizations whose tools and expertise make our trainings, exercises, and assessments materially better in the field. Each name below earned its place because we use what they offer when we deliver to clients not because we exchanged logos.
DMI is an online educational institution training healthcare professionals, emergency responders, and community leaders in disaster medicine. Their faculty includes globally recognized experts; their Fundamentals of Disaster Medicine course is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Prehospital Continuing Education (CAPCE) for 15 continuing education hours, and their curriculum bridges classroom theory with practical application.
How we work together
Co-delivery of advanced disaster medicine and CBRN training programs for both clinical and field audiences. D2EMC brings three decades of operational hazmat, military CBRN, and state-level emergency management experience into DMI's classroom. DMI brings accredited coursework, academic rigor, and a global learner base into our exercises and assessments. Clinicians who train with D2EMC have a clear pathway to formal disaster medicine credentials through DMI.
Who benefits
Hospital CBRN and decontamination teams, EMS clinicians, physicians and physician assistants pursuing disaster medicine credentials, public health responders, and emergency management planners working in healthcare settings.
Cross-platform HAZMAT, CBRNE, and gas detection training simulator
SYGNAL, developed by Handheld Hazmat Inc., turns ordinary Android and iOS devices and even drones into realistic simulated gas detectors. It replaces tens of thousands of dollars in proprietary hardware simulator kits with software that runs on equipment teams already own, without sacrificing scenario realism.
How we work together
SYGNAL powers the hands-on hazmat and air monitoring portions of D2EMC exercises. We use it to build live hazard zones with realistic dispersion, run multi-team scenarios with shared situational awareness across entry teams and command, and conduct meaningful after-action reviews using real detector data flow — all without putting anyone near actual hazards or burning out operational instruments.
What SYGNAL brings to our exercises
Configurable detector layouts that mirror your team's actual fielded equipment, with adjustable alarm thresholds and scales (ppm, ppb, %Vol, mRem, and more)
Live hazard mapping with wind speed and direction affecting readings in real time
Shared sessions so instructors, incident command, and entry teams see the same evolving picture
GPS tracking of personnel and drone-mounted assets at street-level detail
Direct messaging for in-scenario coaching and command communication
After-action playback of readings, positions, and peak values
Fire departments, HAZMAT and CBRNE teams, confined-space rescue units, hospital decontamination teams, industrial safety programs, and any organization running tabletop or live exercises involving chemical, biological, radiological, or nuclear hazards.
Who benefits
Partner With D2EMC
We're a veteran-owned firm and we partner carefully. The organizations above are here because their tools or expertise demonstrably improve what we deliver to clients in healthcare, public safety, and industry not because of marketing arrangements.
If you're building or running something that fits one of the following, we'd like to talk.
What we look for
Training platforms and simulation technology for hazmat, CBRN, decontamination, mass casualty response, or healthcare emergency operations
Subject-matter experts with operational experience in military CBRN, state or federal hazmat response, hospital emergency operations, or disaster medicine, who can co-instruct or contribute to curriculum
Training and credentialing organizations seeking co-delivery arrangements that combine clinical content with field operations
Equipment and PPE providers whose products we already specify in our assessments and trainings, and who want to support hands-on learning programs
We respond to every serious inquiry. We don't respond to generic outreach, link-building requests, or sales pitches dressed as partnership offers.
